 TBH, the take home I've gotten about my feelings and men's feelings in general is "express them- so long as it doesn't have the chance of affecting anyone else's". Not just to relate to his father but also relate to the narrator. When I watched it as a kid I looked for Kevin's conquests and childish antics. Now I listen to the narrator and how he's reminiscing about his life just like I'm doing at 35. The feels are real with that show.
