The mail man doesn't drive a normal mail carrier, he drives a Jeep that's been modified which I'm sure costs more then a normal mail carrier vehicle. And in the winter, that route can get difficult with the snow and ice that comes up. The dirty secret behind those other companies is they don't actually deliver the package. They just transport it to a local distribution center and USPS makes the final delivery. Why might you ask? Because it's fucking expensive to run vehicles and distribution centers in every city in America. It's the same basic reason Uber and Lyft don't make any money.
