 I worry for the future of our country. The fact that people can honestly act like it's a bad thing to want to support our constitution - designed to protect against government intrusion into our personal liberties so that we don't end up as an authoritarian dystopia one day - is honestly a really bad sign. Any time I see people justify attacking the second amendment without a very good reason, it is no better in my view than people who want to suppress freedom of speech when they don't like what is being said, or suppress the right to due process if it's against people they don't like, or so on and so forth.
