 Indeed, myself included, though unfortunately it has been made into a huge political issue - where apparently supporting the constitution and our right to bear arms lumps people like me in with crazy right-wing MAGA conservative extremists. It's easier after all to just laugh and say "haha people who want us to have guns are crazy" than to actually express meaningful policy positions. What frustrates me is that the anti-gun rhetoric by many Democrats in particular drives away a substantial number of "actual" moderates, leaving only people who are pretty far left like myself as willing to still vote for Biden as a lesser evil.
