  Additionally, the whole “There is no year zero” argument is only relevant regarding decades if you’re trying to count how many decades it’s been since B.C. It makes no sense to say 1920 wasn’t part of the 1920s strictly because there was no year zero, even though it’s literally in the name. My thing is, why does that apply differently to centuries than it does decades? Both the person further up this thread and the xkcd comic seem to think that centuries are numbered differently to decades.   No centrists are leaving the US because of far right politics. Progressives are leaving the US - not sure why anyone on the left here is considered conservative/centrist in any other majority progressive country.
