 Parenting sucks. The kids will fight you every step of the way, you will more often than not always be the bad guy, they’ll do dumb stuff, it’s exhausting, frustrating, emotionally and physically so god damned draining and despite all that most parents love and adore their child(ren) and would kill or die for them if need be. Too many sanctimonious parents have made it to where no one can talk about the struggles of parenting. Cause then we must hate our children and not deserve them. Many people struggling with infertility have done the same thing with throwing out “oh at least you have them! I can’t have children and I would NEVER even think that way if I could, you’re ungrateful for even letting this cross your mind!” And so on... it’s bullshit. I love my children. The process of raising them SUCKS.
