All the GOP did is make itself look bad in the stimulus talks by having Trump and Republicans agree to a second stimulus check (and talk about how important it is for the economic recovery) and then completely renege on the stimulus check. Republicans pushed a $500 billion "skinny" package without a freaking stimulus check. By pushing such an extreme bill in light of what was previously agreed upon, they just looked really bad.
