 Some real shit: I had the kind of father who only wanted to be my father, when it actually suited him. I'm not going to go into details, he was basically was a child in a man's body. Never hit me, he didn't treat me bad, per se... He just never took responsibility for his actions, or me. I was 11 att and I still remember that it just clicked in my head. "That man isn't good for me". I broke contact with him for 10 years. Sadly that did also mean that I had no contact with the rest of that family, but that's the only thing I regret.
