 Same way I felt about my dad. He passed away 4 years ago and I’m still kinda sad we never got to talk about how he treated me and how it made me feel and now the issues I have as an adult because of the fear/control tactic that was played my entire life till I got kicked out on my 18th birthday. Makes me never want to have a kid or a son because I don’t want to ever be that type of parent and put another person in that much fear/anxiety. Talk to your dad because one day he won’t be there to tell anything to and it will eat you up. I don't really know where I learned this saying but it goes like this and admittedly I am paraphrasing slightly, sometimes you can't change the people around you but you can definitely change the people around you.
