 I think one of the coolest feelings I've had in my life was as a kid beating Chemical Plant Zone on PC at my daycare in front of about half a dozen other kids. Everyone was taking turns trying to get further into Sonic 2, but no one could get past those platforms, other than one kid who made it up to the boss for a brief second. I got my own turn, and I ended up not only beating Chemical Plant, but I made it up to the Hill Top Zone boss before finally getting a game over. Everyone thought I was so cool in that moment, and as someone who was super shy, quiet, and friendless, it felt awesome in the moment.

 They take any of this they'll be starting another civil war that they'll lose.
