I'm not totally willing to believe that this is all a publicity stunt considering how many caught it at the superspreader event in the Rose Garden. Right now, Trump is taking steroids, which show benefit for patients with pneumonia requiring supplemental oxygen but hint at harm for patients that are less seriously sick, because steroids suppress the immune system and symptoms of sickness, like a fever, or a cytokine storm. Trump is likely sicker than he is letting on and taking risks to pretend that it's no big deal, which is bad for nation, but better for his reelection chances.
